JCI & ISO Accredited Hospitals in Bangkok
Why did I chose this subject to blog about?
Because the burden of Health Care in the U.S. is frightening. Personally, at 62, I can officially retire and start collecting Social Security, (they can’t change that can they?…) but no health care until age 65, let alone dental. We’ll see how it all shakes out here – in about five years. Meantime, I seem to have made it my business to research hospitals in one of my all time favorite cities, Bangkok.
As a young adult, searching for the right career, I usually worked multiple jobs. Right out of high school, was working as a Medical Receptionist during the day for two of the top Allergists in Chicago. Four nights a week and on Saturday mornings, I was a chair side, dental assistant. Allergies and teeth became two of my life long passions. Occasional freelance positions as a Medical Transcriber have also regularly come my way. What’s not interesting about health care? Everybody needs it!
No-fault, first-hand testing in Thailand has made me a believer in dental and medical care at Yanhee International Hospital. I’d love to see the day “Baby Boomers” and their loved ones start considering Medical Tourism Lite in Thailand an option. Thailand is a big, beautiful country and the Thai people are exceptional hosts. It’s a cultural vacation with benefits that begin before you get home.
NOTE:
BEFORE video – “Fitti-dent” moment, posted here on 10/13, was shot on a gloomy day in it’s entirety. No editing. I want to point out that Barry is a real person with dental problems, who happens to be a retired actor and director.
In AFTER video, “YanheeHappy” posted on 10/15, viewers get to enjoy a man who just can’t ignore a camera lens. He left Marina Del Rey about a week after we agreed to document our Medical Vacations in Bangkok. He knew what to expect on his second visit. A few years, Barry checked out prices at Yanhee’s Dental Department. It’s mentioned in our story, on the front page of the Health Section of a syndicated newspaper. Just a month following the latest riots in Thailand, I visited the Central Mall explosion site. It was eerie – like Bangkok’s 9/11 site. A marker of sadness to the peaceful, praying Thai people. Otherwise, it was business as usual, albeit, fewer tourists.
I enjoyed discovering and recording my local neighborhood views during my month long “Medical Vacation” in Bangkok. That’s why I’m recommending it to you!
At the end (which is actually the beginning) of this blog/journey, I will provide a few more hotel ideas and suggest, “Things to See and Do, DAY and NIGHT in Bangkok” during your Medical vacation.
