Kids Art Camp in Hua Hin – Folks traveling with children may want to drop them off for day classes, or Vic Hua Hin Weekend School, Thailand is very kid friendly. You can park your child for a day or three, and know they are well taken care of.
Theater -In the evening, catch a performance at the Patravadi “Vic” Theater. I happened see Kuck, perform brilliantly in a one man show, entitled, “Chailai Goes To War”. This hetero-sexual male, walks his spirit character through an unforgettable era in Thai History. His female persona incarnates seamlessly, if you think for a moment the actors switched, he often communicates with or taunts the audience … in English. Brilliant!
Rather than flowers, Thai’s have a lovely custom of selling ribbon necklaces, (for pennies) immediately after the performance. These tokens of honor include the privilege of joining the actors on stage, to drape the colorful links over the heads of favorite characters. Although the students were certainly all acknowledged, Kuck was the obvious winner.
